Sue Jimenez
is a polymer clay artist in Albuquerque, New Mexico,
and owner of
Clever with Clay,
specializing in
wearable art
and
whimsical sculptures
.
She has created a series of brooches reflecting southwest landscapes and geology, which are as soothing to the wearer as they are to the creator. Each individual item is unique and one-of-a-kind. Each item is crafted with a combination of pure and blended polymer clay colours. NO paint is used !
Round brooches come with a conversion kit, to convert to a pendant.
The
‘Mesa’
series consists of a number of brooches depicting the dynamic geology and sometimes vibrant, sometimes muted colors of the southwest. The
‘Southwest ‘Scapes’
features a broader range of impressionistic southwest landscapes, evocative of the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico.

In another venture, Sue now offers a selection of small
watercolours
,
which also reflect the dramatic and spectacular geology of the southwest.
